Boil Order in Effect
A boil order is in effect for the following areas:
On North Street between 7th and 8th Street
On 8th Street from North to Jackson
West Adams Street from 8th Street to 11th Street
A boil order means that residents in the affected area are advised to boil their water for three (3) to five (5) minutes prior to drinking or cooking with it. This is a precautionary measure for residents’ protection.
Once test results are received and the boil order is lifted, another message will be posted to this site.
City of Auburn Accepting Applications
The City of Auburn is accepting applications for the position of Cleaning city hall and the community center. The hourly wage is 10.00/hour not to exceed 15 hours per 2 week pay period.
Applications must be received in the City Office located at 324 West Jefferson, Auburn, Illinois no later than 3:45 pm on January 31, 208. Applications can be picked up at the city office or obtained online
