Sangamon County to Face More Covid-19 Restrictions
The county will be changing mitigation efforts to resemble Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH)’s restrictions more closely.
The City of Auburn will be following the restrictions outlined by Sangamon County set to take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020.
The additional mitigations include:
No indoor dining or indoor bar service is allowed.
Patrons must be seated at tables outside.
Establishments must close at 11 p.m. and cannot reopen earlier than 6 a.m. the following day.
Reservations are required for every party.
Tables must be placed six feet apart.
Multiple parties cannot be seated together at the same table.
Standing or dancing indoors is not allowed.
Establishments cannot allow customers to order, sit, or congregate at bars. Bar stools should be removed.
Patrons cannot stand or congregate indoors or outdoors while waiting for a table or leaving the establishment.
Establishments must have an adequate supply of face coverings for their staff and a policy and training for staff to wear them over their nose and mouth.
Hand-washing sinks must be accessible, functional with running hot and cold water, and stocked with soap, hand-drying devices, and waste cans.
Hand sanitizing stations must be provided in multiple locations, as appropriate.
Employees must be trained and reminded of effective hand hygiene practices.
Karaoke is not allowed.
